The Vehicle Cleaner and Sanitizer Attendant is a labor-intensive position in a fast-paced environment, where the employee performs cleaning, sanitation, and washing of vehicles and facilities inside and out.

serving New Jersey Transit - Access Link

  • Maintains adequate inventories and supplies to make minor repairs and facilitate the washing of buses.
  • Clean, detail, and sanitize the interior of vehicles
  • Inspects all buses during fueling or on a regularly scheduled basis for physical damage
  • Picks up and delivers parts and vehicles as needed
  • Complete other maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Vehicle Cleaner and Sanitizer Attendant Qualifications

  • Valid New Jersey license and the ability to obtain a CDL license is required
  • Must be available nights and weekends
  • Vehicle fueling, cleaning, and detailing experience a plus
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Subject to a drug screen
