Role Summary

As a Title and Registration Operations Manager, you will lead a team who will execute registration and title applications on behalf of Rivian customers, ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will also work to increase efficiency and support customer facing employees both at headquarters and in the field. To be successful in this role you are willing and able to jump in and be "hands on" to support completion of work and meet targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of specialists supporting best in industry customer service representatives assisting customers with vehicle purchase and registration questions
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively for themselves and others
  • Work with senior leadership on process creation and strategy as targets and volume scale with business growth
  • Drive industry-best vehicle registration accuracy and speed
  • Support field delivery teams with document signing fluency and accuracy
  • Ensure location compliance with local rules and regulations
  • Assist with new market entry registration compliance
  • Support service teams with local vehicle inspection requirements on a state-by-state basis
  • A collaborator who develops and maintains relationships across the organization
  • Be an agent of change that owns effective communication of company messages; ensures that the entire team is kept informed of the vision of our business
  • Implement scalable initiatives and best practices to ensure a world-class operation
  • Effectively plan by using reporting and forecasting to set and adjust schedules and pivot resources as needed to meet business demand
  • Provide training and development to associates; develop and promote talent through effective and timely feedback and consistent performance reviews
  • Enforce high standards in process execution through daily business reviews, observations, and feedback

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of vehicle registration experience required; Multi-state experience preferred
  • 2+ years proven experience leading a successful team
  • Familiarity with different vehicle registration software providers
  • Experience with regular contact with DMV compliance officers and demonstrated ability to meet dealer license compliance inspection standards
  • Prior experience with EV and Auto Ecommerce a plus
  • Experience analyzing reports and creating action plans based on data Proficiency with Microsoft suite to create spreadsheets, documents and presentations
  • Experience registering Electric Vehicles advantageous
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to support field teams on nights and weekends; work a flexible schedule; overnight travel may be requested
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to30% based on business demands
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8-10 hours per day
  • Required to communicate using telephone and/or e-mail
  • Ability to view, reach, and interpret documents

Salary Range / Hourly Rate for New York City Applicants: $130,000-150,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
