Data Analyst I

Summary

Overview:

Under direct supervision, provides management and analysis of business data. Ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.

Responsibilities:

Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed. Manage users and user roles. / Business Line Analysts: Defines business metrics and analyzes data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Translate complex analysis into actionable intelligence and recommendations for management.

Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.

Support targeted business activities, including opportunities for product and process improvement with a focus on driving significant business growth.

Document all data and reporting processes.

Provide appropriate communications and status reports to management, team members and business lines.

Trains end users on new reports and dashboards.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Licenses/ Certifications:
Associates degree in a quantitative field, like Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Research, or other similar fields; or 3-4 years of additional relevant experience
Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:
1+ years Experience extracting data from databases using SQL, using PowerBI or other data BI/visualization tools, preferred

The pay range for this position in Rhode Island is $47,000 - $61,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Annual bonuses are some of the additional forms of compensation offered.
